The Logic: Leading vs. Lagging Indicators
This tool works by connecting two types of indicators:
- Leading Indicators (Your Responsible KPIs): Metrics like 'Employee Engagement Score' or '% of Managers Trained'. These are predictive and measure the *activities* you are doing.
- Lagging Indicators (Your Business Metrics): Metrics like 'Revenue' or 'Employee Turnover'. These measure the ultimate *outcomes* and results.
